Durbar (Transitional Court) is a 2020 Indian Tamil language action thriller film written and directed by LA Murgados and produced by Alerajja Subsakran under the banner of Lyika Production. The film features Rajinikanth, Neenathra, and Sunil Shetty. The music of the film is composed by Anirudh Ravichandran, while the cinematography and editing are handling Santosh Sewan and Sreekar Prasad respectively. The film is set to release on January 10, 2020, along with Thai Pongal.

Darbar (film) Rajinikanth 2020 Production

The film's production began with the working title Thalaivar 167. Lyka Productions announced that they will be directing AR MORGADOS in 2.0 after a previous collaboration with Rajinikanth. Principal photography started in Mumbai on April 10, 2019. Filming began on April 8, 2019, the same day that Laika Productions released the first look poster on Twitter and Facebook.

Morgado's shared the first appearance of the court on April 9, which marked his first partnership with Rajinikanth. The poster was decorated with police equipment and equipment, along with the cartoon line, "You decide you want to make me good, or bad, or worse." [citation needed]

Sunil Shetty has been cast for the lead role, appearing in his second Tamil film after 12b (2001).

The director has written that this will be the action thriller actor's 167th film. Rajinikanth played the role of a policeman after almost 27 years, his last role in the police was the 1992 movie Pandyan. [citation needed]

Anirudh Ravichandran will compose music while Santosh Sewan will perform the cinematographer duties. Sreekar Prasad will edit the film. The second-look poster starring superstar Rajinikanth, with two different colors, has been directed by AR Moragados through his official Twitter handle for fan art.

In November, Kamin Hassan, Mahesh Babu, Mohan Lal and Salman Khan released Rajinikanth's Darbar Motion poster for Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Hindi versions respectively.

The soundtrack and score of the film was compiled by Anirudd Ravichandran, who collaborated with actor Rajinikanth after Petta and second with Arthur, director Arro Murgados. A supporting theme song for this movie, titled "Thalawar Theme" with this motion poster, was released on November 7, 2019, the same day as a motion poster.

Although the album will be released as its digital partner under the Roboix audio label, the rights to stream the album were acquired through their online music streaming platform.

The first single from the movie, "Chahma Kizhi", featuring Vivek's lyrics and sung by SP Balasubramanian, was released on November 27, 2019.
