Jund (transl. Crowd) is a Hindi language sports movie based on the life of NGO Salim Sakar founder Vijay Barce. The film starring Amitabh Bachchan, Aakash Thosar and Rinko Raj Guru is directed by Nagaraj Manjuli. Biographical sports dramas have been produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishna Kumar, Raj Harimath, Swetha Harimath and Nagraj Manjoli, Garji Kalkarni and Menu Arora under the banner of T-Series, Tando Films Entertainment Pvt Ltd and Utpat Films. In the film, Bachchan plays a professor who motivates street children to build a football team. The film's shooting began in Nagpur in December 2018, and was slated to release on May 8, 2020.
