Bloodshot 2020 Development

In March 2012, it was announced that Columbia Pictures had acquired the rights to the film to acquire the Blood Comics character Bloodshot, and will be produced by Regional Film and Valentine Entertainment. Jeff Wadlow was hired to write the screenplay. In April 2015, Sony Pictures, Original Film and Valentine announced a five-image deal to bring superheroes of Valentine Comics to the big screen, including Bloodshot. From the screenplays of Wadlow and Eric Heiser, Chad Stylesky and David Leach were hired to direct the film. Steelsky and Leach eventually got on the project. In July 2017, it was reported that Jared Leto was in early talks to work on the film as a blood shot, [6] but in March 2018, it was announced that Van Diesel would portray the lead character. Will By May, additional members of the cast were announced, along with Sam Hagen, Michael Shane, and Eiza Gonzalez. In June of the same year, Talley Riley and Alex Hernandez were cast in the film to play the role of the titular wife of Jenna and a scientist named Tubbs, respectively. Later, Toby Cable and Johannes Hawor Johansson both cast in villain roles, along with the former X. In August 2018, Lemoran Morris had to play with a young scientist named Wilfred Wiggins. That same month, it was reported that the cow was negotiating to replace Paris Shane, who had to leave the movie due to scheduling and family disputes.

Bloodshot 2020 Filming
