Following the release of Arvinda Samantha Vera Raghava, speculations started that Trivikram will be directing a film with Allu Arjun, which will be based on the Rayalaseema faction, and rumors also suggest that Allu Arjun will play a policeman. Who will deal with the factions in their own way. This project was officially confirmed but no clue was found about the species. New Year's Eve was officially announced by Gita Arts that his next film will be directed by Trivikram along with Elio Arjun and he also said that it is a joint production with Harika & Hussain creations. On April 8, 2019, the lead cast and crew were announced on the anniversary of Owl Arjun. On April 13, 2019, the regular shooting of the film began with a puja ceremony attended by the film team.
The first schedule of the film debuted on April 23, 2019. The second schedule debuted on June 5, 2019, during which the movie featured Neetha Pethraj, Tabu and Sushant in the lead roles. The title, El Waikont Poromulo, came out on August 15, 2019.
In mid-November, the team moved to France filming the song "Social Vergamon". Parts of the song have been shot in Mont St Michel in Normandy, France, and the Eiffel Tower in Paris. The song was also filmed at the world famous Cabaret Theater, Ludo de Paris, and became the first South Indian film to be shot there.

The second single "Ramoloo Ramola" song teaser was released on October 21, 2019. Songs written by Kasarla Shyam and songs by Anurag Kulkarni and Mangali Sattivati. It was released on October 25, 2019 on the occasion of Single Diwali. The YouTube video included lyrics, footage of the musicians, owl Arjun voice over, [19] clips of the film's original dance number, behind the scenes footage, and cast members wished the fans the end of Diwali. With 8.3 million views, it became the most-watched South Indian song on YouTube in 24 hours. It soon became the fastest Telugu song to reach 50 million views on YouTube.
The third single "OMGDD" song teaser was released on November 14, 2019, when children are being treated by the team playing Day. This teaser includes Allu Arhun and Allou Ian, the children of Allu and Arjun. On November 22, 2019, the song released by Rahul Sepulganj, Rahul Nambiar, Roll Reda, Bilizzi and Lady Kash with lyrics of Krishna Cheetania was released.
